Executive - Audit (Credit) / Executive - Audit (Retail Banking)

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake Operations & Corporate credit audits, special audits and fraud investigations
• Reporting whether operational and credit controls are effectively carried out as per the bank's standards, by the departments / branches audited
• Reviewing and appraising the Bank's operations and credit procedures practiced in branches / Departments
• Detecting anomalies / weaknesses in systems / procedures / customer services and submitting ideas for their improvement

Pre-requisites and Key Attributes for both positions:

• Professional qualifications Internal Auditing or CIMA/ACCA/CMA/ICASL/AAT or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of Audit experience in the respective area (Credit or Retail Banking)
• Audit Executive (Retail Banking) should have over 7 years of experience in Retail Banking & should have carried out Audits in Bank operations, Cash, Customer Accounts, ATMs, Remittances, Trade Services, Guarantees, Finance, Treasury, Cards etc
• Audit Executive (Credit) should have over 7 years of experience in Banking with specific exposure to Corporate credit, lending, credit analysis (i.e. interpretation of Financial Statements, Ratios etc), with the knowledge of credit control & local regulations
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and computer access control are essential
• A good command of spoken and written English with report writing skills
