Accountant

The Job:
You will be required to prepare budgets, control overheads and analyse vacancies. You will adhere to group policies & procedures and ensure that the appropriate control framework is in place to safeguard assets. Additionally, you will need to provide management information on a timely and accurate manner as per the stipulated guidelines. You would be responsible for material management and cut ship reconciliations as well. You will create value by providing information / analysis to assist in driving the business.

The Person:
You should possess a degree or a professional qualification in ICASL / CIMA / ACCA. Relevant industry experience of 2 years will be an added advantage. Fluency in English and Sinhala languages, attention to detail, teamwork, a structured and disciplined work approach, ability to deliver results on time are essential competencies that are expected from you. You should possess the aptitude to work under pressure with a positive attitude and be able to develop effective interpersonal relationships with cross functional teams.
