We are looking for a suitable individual to work at the Finance Department at Asiri Hospital Holdings PLC. The successful candidate is expected to prepare, develop and analyse key financial information to assist the management in making vital decisions in order to ensure stability, growth and profitability of the company.

Assistant Accountant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing and interpreting monthly management accounts and financial accounting statements
• Preparing Company / departmental budgets and implementing budgetary controls
• Preparation of procedure costing and service costing & advance pricing analysis
• Managing cashflows and optimising company working capital cycle
• Liaising with auditors and all other stakeholders concerned
• Tax planning and liaising with all relevant regulatory authorities
• Cost control and cost leadership

Experience and qualifications:

• ICASL, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification - Passed Finalist
• Knowledge in Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (SLAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS / SLFRS)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity in an organisation
• Working experience in a reputed Audit firm / a good exposure in preparing Group Accounts will be added advantages
• A high degree of reliability, professionalism and integrity
• Excellent communication skills and practical knowledge in MS Office package
• The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and take challenges with a positive attitude
