Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university
• Full professional qualification in accounting, finance and/or audit
• Approximately 4 years of audit experience
• Excellent project management skills
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Display of professionalism

Job Profile:

• Assist in developing a risk based audit plan
• Evaluate the process of business functions
• Risk identification, assessment and ratings for audit planning
• Develop tailer made audit programmes
• Ensure adherence to the internal audit methodology
• Conduct audit assignments on the nature of finance operations, compliance, and IT
• Carryout analysis, tests, and evaluate the results to draw conclusions
• Ensure that the audit documentation and the file maintenance is up to date
• Conduct exit meetings
• Draft audit recommendations and write audit memos / reports
• Follow up on implementation of corrective actions
• Gain business knowledge and provide on the job training and knowledge transfer to other auditors and juniors, if required
• Conduct special assignments as assigned
• Perform any other duties as required by the Head of Internal Audit
