Administrative Assistant Cum Cashier

Location: Negombo Laboratory

You are expected to perform a multi skilled role in handling customer relations, both internal and external, handle payments from cashiers. Explain about the bills & provide the information to patients. Prepare the daily collection reports; tally the customer's collections with daily collection reports and follow standard procedures to input text or patient details, investigations & numerical data into a computer or other business machines, as well as to resolve routine questions and problems and escalate more complex issues to higher level.

Ideal candidate should:

  • Have passed G.C.E. A/L examination preferably in commerce stream. AAT part or full qualification will be an advantage
  • Have experience with MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Have the ability to use office equipment with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Possess good communication skills in Sinhala & English languages while having knowledge in Tamil will be an advantage
  • Have a pleasing personality and willingness to work late hour shifts
  • Having knowledge on medical terminology is an added advantage
