Aitken Spence Power has interests in thermal, hydro, wind and waste-to-energy in Sri Lanka. We require the services of a dynamic, result oriented and highly motivated individual to be a part of our team in the following capacity.

Junior Accounts Executive

The ideal candidate should possess a Degree from a reputed University. A full/part qualification from CIMA, ACCA or ACA would be added advantage. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a reputed Audit firm along with 1 year of commercial experience is essential to perform this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, technical knowledge on financial reporting, hands one experience with ERP systems and ability to work within a team are key competencies sought.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Liaising with the Shared Services Centre for the processing of suppliers payments and bank transfers
• Assisting in the processing the import related documents
• Assisting in the reconciliation of accounts int he general ledger
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly financial statements, cash flow projections and other management reports
• Assisting in random stock counts, annual stock counts and other verifications of the power plant
