Branch Credit Officers

The job holder will be responsible for the achievement of revenue targets and portfolio quality targets of the Branch.

The Job:

• Analysis of credit worthiness including financial capability of the client
• Responsible for carrying out customer visits and inspections as and when required
• Constantly monitor the portfolio to ensure that all covenants stipulated under approvals are adhered, while ensuring periodic reviews on pricing, are conducted in order to maintain profitability
• Ensure that all operational and credit procedures are adhered to
• Coordinate with other departments of the bank in order to expedite the disbursement of the facility in a timely manner
• Constantly monitor the past due non-performing asset portfolio and take appropriate steps for recoveries as per banks recovery procedures
• Assist the Branch Manager in identifying potential segments for new business growth and undertake cross selling of products

The Person:

• Should possess at least 8 years of experience in Banking / Financial institutions, out of which around 4 years should be in credit
• Should be fully qualified in Banking & Finance or any other equivalent professional qualification
• If part qualified, need to have around 6 years of credit experience
• Possess excellent report writing skills
• Be a committed team player with strong analytical and relationship management skills
