Assistant Accountant

Location: Colombo

Part qualification from an internationally recognised Professional Accounting Body (CIMA / ICASL). Should have minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity with exposure in both Financial and Management Accounting. Work experience in an audit firm will be an added advantage. Should be between 30-35 years of age with excellent communication skills in English including verbal and written skills. Computer literacy is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Production of monthly accounts
• Preparation of Budgets
• Bank and inter-company reconciliations
• Statutory compliances including taxes
• Statutory audit handling
• Fixed Assets Register Maintenance and Control
