David Pieris Racing & Leisure (Private) Limited, a member of David Pieris Group, is the managing company of Sri Lanka's first internally certified karting track and leisure complex based in Bandaragama, renowned as the best in Asia and one of a kind in the world.

We are looking for dynamic individuals with the experience and expertise in the field of finance.

Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist in management accounting process whilst attending to service invoices and debit notes.
• Preparation of bank reconciliations, debtor reminder letters and passing of journal entries.
• Overlook petty cash, disbursement of payments, payment vouchers and document archive activities.
• Preparation of monthly SVAT summary document.

Requirements:

• Completed G.C.E. A/L, preferably in the commerce stream.
• Part qualification from a recognised institute such as AAT, ICASL, ACAC, CIMA.
• A minimum of two years work experience in the field of finance / accountancy with good time management skills.
• Hands-on experience in computerised accounting packages and MS Office.
• A good team player with sound verbal and written communication skills and English and Sinhala.
• Knowledge and experience in hotel and leisure sector will be an added advantage.
