Accounts Clerk

Location: Heritance Ahungalla

The ideal candidate should possess the GCE A/L qualification in the Commerce stream and a full/part qualification in AAT. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably handling Accounts Receivable (AR) in the Hospitality industry, is essential to perform this role. Communication skills, attention to detail, integrity, and computer proficiency (especially in MS Excel) are key attributes and competencies sought.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Processing AR/incoming payments in line with Financial policies/procedures.
• Reconciling the AR ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Performing day-to-day financial transactions (classifying AR data ete.).
• Maintaining AR files and records.
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities/enquiries.
• Assisting in preparing reports for Management information.
