Junior / Senior Marketing Executive

Scope:
Is responsible to plan and carry out direct marketing & sales activities for Dell equipment and other IT related products given by the management and to achieve the sales targets given by the management on a monthly basis. To manage the customers that are assigned or handled by you in a professional manner that includes sending out quotations on time, following up with customers for business, attending to customer queries and collecting payments on time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To submit a monthly forecast/rolling forecast to the team leader beginning and achieve sales targets indicated by the management with the necessary product mix on a monthly basis.
  • To have a good understanding of the company products & service offerings whilst updating oneself on a continuous basis.
  • To manage the key accounts assigned by the management in a bid to increase & maintain a splendid relationship with the customer.
  • It is mandatory to send out all error free quotations/tenders to your customers on time. Where tenders/proposals are concerned which has a submission deadline, it’s the sole responsibility of the sales person to ensure the bid submission is done on time.
  • To continuously train yourself by being present at all sales training sessions conducted by the organisation.
  • To understand customer requirements/tenders and to position/propose suitable models.
  • To request pricing in advance from the respective persons in charge of pricing for your team.
  • To prospect for new customers on the sector/segment assigned to you.
  • To visit your existing customer accounts on a frequent/planned basis and to maintain a good working relationship with your customers. All ME’s are expected to visit minimum 4 customers per day and to update your team leader of the calls before leaving office.
  • To maintain & develop a customer & prospect database within the assigned segments.
  • To coordinate with the other departments where necessary for any customer related matters that would ensure Softlogic meets the agreed customer expectations.
  • To maintain the highest level of discipline and ethics laid down on the Softlogic HR manual.
